Time For Change?
I’m currently giving a great deal of thought to the future of Yarn Over, especially the web section. I can’t help but wonder whether it has lost its relevance. When I first started Yarn Over, finding all things lace knitting on the web was pretty hard, but this is no longer the case. So maybe it’s time to stop - what do you think?

14 Jan 2008 @ 18:46:10I love Yarnover, and I think everyone will agree with me. Perhaps just keep it and update it with pretty free lace patterns that you unearth. So many people knit those patterns and we are all grateful to you for the information!

14 Jan 2008 @ 22:56:36No, don’t stop. Yarn Over is one of my favorite resource for lace patterns and links. It’ s a great site!

25 Jan 2008 @ 06:57:50Finding lace things on the net has gotten easier, but I still come to your site quite often! In fact, I’m about to start Stor Rund Dug (FINALLY!) since I finished charting it the other day. It’s been a real challenge to try to finish the project I’ve got OTN now so that I can start SRD without guilt.

25 Jan 2008 @ 06:59:16And two of the big names (fleegle and Lankakomero) think you should continue, so that clinches it in my book–keep it going!

29 Jan 2008 @ 04:59:34Oh I love Yarnover and it has really encouraged me to work at lace knitting. I would be sad to see it go as it seems such an excellent, concentrated resource of the best in lace knitting.

1 Feb 2008 @ 07:58:48Oh please don’t. Everyone who is new to lace (and there must be a hundred a day) gets the same high when they first find your site.
Then they go off for a while and get better skills, and when they come back later, it means so much more and is even more exciting!
Lace might be more prevalent on the web now, but yours is still one of the best.
Please don’t take it down.

2 Feb 2008 @ 02:08:44You have one of the best resources on the net, for both old and new knitters. It would be a shame to see it disappear.
