Crochet Stitchpatterns 2

Multiple of 2 + 1.

Base row: 1 dc in 2nd ch from hook and in eac subsequent ch. Turn with 2 ch.

1. row: insert hook in 2nd ch from hook and draw up thread, insert hook and draw up thread in each of next 2 sts (4 loops on hook), yoh, draw through all loops, 1 ch. * Insert hook in the hole just before ch just made and draw up thread, insert hook in st where last loop for prev grp of sts was drawn through and pull thread through, insert hook and draw through thread in each of next 2 stitches ( 5 loops on hook), yoh and draw through all loops, 1 ch; repeat from * to end of row, ending with 1 tr in the st where the last loop for grp of sts was drawn thorugh. Turn with 1 ch.

2. row: Miss tr, 1 htr in each st to end of row. Turn with 2 ch.

Repeat rows 1 -2.

FANTASY PATTERN

Any number of uneven stitches

Base row: 1 dc in 3rd ch from from hook and each subsequent ch. turn with 3 ch.

1. row: Yoh, insert hook in edge st and draw up thread, yoh and draw through 2 loops, yoh and draw up thread from same st, yoh and draw through 2 loops, draw up thread once more from same st, yoh and draw thread though 2 loops (4 loops left on hook), yoh and draw through all loops. * 1 ch, miss 1 st, yoh and draw thread throughfront loop

2. row: Inserting hook in back loopof stitches: 1 dc in each st. turn with 3 ch.

Repeat rows 1 - 2.

FIR TREE PATTERN

Multiple of 2 + 1.

Base row: Yoh, insert hook in 3rd ch from hook and draw up thread to a long loop, yoh and repeat for next st, yoh and draw through all 5 loops. * 1 dc, yoh, insert hook in next st and draw up a long loop, yoh and repeat for next st, yoh and draw though all 5 loops. repeat from * to end of row, ending with 1 dc, 1 tr in last st. Turn with 2 ch.

1. row: Yoh, insert hook in hole before first cluster and draw up a long loop, yoh and repeat by inserting hook in next hole, yoh and draw through all 5 loops. * Yoh, insert hook in previous hole and draw up a long loop, yoh and repeat for next hole, yoh and draw through all 5 loops. Repeat from * to end of row, ending with 1 tr in last st.

Repeat row 1.

PRINCESS PATTERN

Multiple of 6 + 3.

Base row: 1 tr in 4th ch from hook, 1 ch. * 1 cluster {= yoh, insert hook in first st and draw up thread, yoh and draw though 2 loops, miss 1 st, yoh, insert hook in next st and draw up thread, yoh and draw through 2 loops ( = 3 loops on hook), yoh and draw through all 3 loops], 1 ch. repeat from * to end of row, but end with 1 tr in each of last 2 sts. Turn with 2 ch.

1. row: Miss 2 sts, * 1 fan [= 5 tr who are worked in the middle of a cluster by inserting hook under the 4 loops] in next cluster, inserting hook under 4 loops in next cluster: 1 tr. Repeat from * to end of row, ending after the last fan with 1 tr in the top ch. Turn with 2 ch.

2. row: Miss the edge st, 1 tr in first tr of fan, 1 ch, * 1 cluster (inserting hook in 2. and 4. st of fan), 1 ch, 1 cluster [inserting hook in 5. st of same fan and 1. st of next fan (miss the single tr)], 1 ch. Repeat from * to end of row, ending with 1 tr in top turning ch. Turn with 2 ch

Repeat rows 1 -2.

BASKET PATTERN

Multiple of 3.

Base row:(1 tr, 2 ch, 1 dc) in 3. ch from hook. * Miss 2 sts, (2 tr, 2 ch, 1 dc) in next st. Repeat from * to end of row. Turn with 2 ch.

1. row: (1 tr, 2 ch, 1 dc) in 2ch loop, * (2 tr, 2 ch, 1 dc) in next 2ch loop, repeat from * to end of row. turn with 2 ch.

Repeat row 1.

HARLEQUIN PATTERN

Multiple of 8 + 2.

Base row: 1 dc in 2. ch from hook, * miss 3 ch, (3 tr, 1 ch, 3 tr) in next st, miss next 3 sts, 1 dc in next st. repeat from * to end of row, Turn with 3 ch.

1. row: Yoh, insert hook in first tr and draw up thread, yoh and draw though 2 loops, repeat for each of next 2 stitches ( = 4 loops on hook), yoh and draw though all 4 loops. * 3 ch, 1 dc by inserting hoook under 1 ch between clusters of prev row, 3 ch, 1 unfinished tr (as previously) in each of the 3 tr in row below, miss the dc, 1 'unfinished' tr in each of the next 3 tr ( = 7 loops on hook), yoh and draw through all 7 loops. Repeat from * to end of row, ending with 1 'unfinished' tr in each of last 2 sts, yoh and draw through all 4 loops, 1 tr in last dc. (On subsequent rows 1 this tr is worked in the top turning ch.) Turn with 3 ch.

2. row: 3 tr in the st that closes the 3 tr in row below, * insert hook in ch under the dc from previous row and work 1 dc, ( 3 tr, 1 ch, 3 tr) in st that closes the 6 tr. repeat from * to end of row, ending with 3 tr in the st that closes the 3 tr, 1 tr in in turning ch. Turn with 3 ch.

3. row: * 1 unfinished tr in each of first 3 tr, miss 1 dc, 1 unfinished tr in each of next 3 tr, yoh and draw through all 7 loops, 3 ch, 1 dc by inserting hoook under 1 ch between clusters of prev row, 3 ch. repeat from * to end of row, but finish by working 1 tr in the turning ch. turn with 2 ch.

4. row: * ( 3 tr, 1 ch, 3 tr) in st that closes the 6 tr, 1 dc in dc before next cluster. Repeat from *, but finish with 1 tr in turnibg ch. turn with 3 ch.
