Cross Stitch

For a long time embroidery, especially cross stitch, was my preferred craft, and I especially enjoyed making samplers and personalizing gifts for special occcasions like birthdays and anniversaries.

The graphs I share with you on the following pages have come in very useful for that.

They are from an old leaflet handed down to me from my mom's Aunt Marie.

There is nothing on it to indicate when, where or by whom it was published, but I estimate it to be from ca. 1910 - 1920, possibly older. The original is very fragile and yellowed with tears in some places.

I realize the scans are not that clear, but they were the best I could do with the material at hand, while keeping the files a reasonable size.

These graphs can also be used for filét crochet.
